Suicide Prevention Poster

This poster was designed to only show up at night. It was silk screened with a strontium-based phosphorescent ink (the potent stuff) that will glow for 8 to 10 hours after about 1/2 hour in the sunlight. We're still trying to pull off a billboard version of this, but it's proving to be a little more difficult.

Tony Divino Toyota has an upfront, straightforward approach to car sales. These spots were conceived to make this point in a rather unusual way. They're 30-second spots that are split into two 15-second book-end spots that run at either end of a commercial break.

We decided to take a potshot at this practice for Tony Divino Toyota, who has a reputation for honesty. CPB's Evan Fry liked it so much, he awarded it his special judges award at our local ADDY show.

Since this one is a big deal (UMFA was one of only four North American tour venues), we wanted to get people's attention. Fortunately, ticket sales far exceeded projections.
